Admission to 2-Year B.Ed. Course :

Shimurali Sachinandan College of Education invites online applications for admission to the 2-Year B.Ed. Course under Baba Saheb Ambedkar Education University (formerly WBUTTEPA). The college conducts online admission process on stand-alone basis. Interested candidates must apply through the official Admission Portal: Apply Now

Eligibility :

1. Academic Qualification:
   1. Candidates must have a graduate degree (10+2+3) in a school subject from a recognized university.
   2. A minimum of 50% marks is required in either Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a school subject.
   3. For Honours Graduates, only honours subject marks will be considered.
   4. For General Graduates, total marks across all subjects will be considered.
   5. Candidates with Honours/Master’s in a non-school subject must have at least one school subject at graduation level.
   6. B.E. / B.Tech. Graduates with at least 55% marks (specialization in Science/Mathematics) are eligible.
2. Reservation & Relaxation:
   1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Differently Abled candidates as per Government norms.
   2. A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/Physically Challenged candidates (minimum disability 40%).

   3. Three passport-sized photos.
